The Cornfield got my goat on this. They wrote a "Close Appy" story last year and then turn around and write a "Save the Inn" story. At least the kids are in school . $500,000 to fix the building (don't re-use that, I don't know where that figure came from and may be way wrong), still no use for it unless they turn it into the public health center , or drunk tank. Perhaps a museum. But then we go right back to a budget to operate it.
